Monazite (very rare)

Here's a great one for you rare stone collectors out there. Monazite is what I would call an uncommon phosphate mineral, but it is only known from a few localities in gemmy enough crystals to cut fine stones. Keep in mind that most Monazites around the world are opaque (or barely translucent), and the gem quality material is often very small. This stone has a "Trillion Brilliant" cut and a very rich golden-brown color and it is certainly gem quality. It does have some inclusions, but good faceted Monazites are not seen on the market. Do not miss out on this little rarity, as it is the only one we have to offer. The fact that it's from Russia makes it all the more desirable and you almost never see gem quality Monazites from any locality in the entire country.
