Sharp, honey-brown, partially translucent, monazite (Ce) crystals to 1.5 cm with waxy luster are nicely set on the massive, partially euhedral massive quartz matrix. Some faces are covered with splendent jet-black biotite. A showy and excellent combination specimen from this classic Norway locale. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and purchased in Zurich in 1970 for 100 Swiss francs.
