Item Description

Although it has not been analyzed, this single, slender crystal is most likely the (Ce) analog of the REE phosphate Monazite. Compared to other Monazites, it has the (Ce)-characteristic burnt umber color and the sheer crystal size. This particular crystal has sharp edges and is partially terminated. It ranks highly among the Monazite-(Ce) specimens that I have seen.
