Item Description
A platy group of lustrous, metallic, silvery colored Molybdenite from this lesser known occurrence for the species in Poland. This is the first piece of this material that we've had to offer in the auctions, and if you collect sulfides, especially from obscure localities, this is a perfect opportunity to add this attractive thumbnail to your collection. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#8623). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
