Item Description

Mineral specimen from this obscure and extinct large tungsten-bismuth-molybdenum mine worked from 1947-1992 are rare indeed. Splendent, waxy feel, silver-metallic molybdenite disks are richly and attractively clustered in one corner of the large matrix of quartz and feldspar. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. Collected by Paul Patchick on a visit to the mine on 12-26-54, according to Bob's label. A real fine and rich rarity.
