Item Description

Molybdenite specimens are RARE from this well-known, large REE pegmatite. Splendent, metallic-gray, hexagonal plates to 5 mm are peppered on all side of the feldspar matrix. These could be ilmenite crystals, according to the photos shown in MINDAT. Comes with a 1958-68 John Albanese label, a prominent East Coast dealer in the 1940-60s.
