Item Description

Brillant-metallic molybdenite crystals are jauntily set on sculptural quartz matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from the famous Moly Hill Mine of Quebec. Most crystals are flat-lying, but the one vertical crystal cluster is striking. The platy crystals have texbook, hexagonal crystal form and reach 2.0 cm. The large composite cluster is 2.9 cm across. Classic material with several displayable views.
