Item Description

An adorable thumbnail rosette of intergrown, hexagonal, laminar molybdenite blades with brilliant metallic luster on this cute two-sided specimen. The bit of quartz is a commmon accessory. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 12843 and acquired at Tucson in the early 1990s from an Australian dealer. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien-Welt" November-December 2017). Classic and excellent material from the famed Wolfram Camp. Fine thumbnail! THumbnails of this are rarely seen!
