Molybdenite (fine rare locality specimen)

A beautiful, fine quality and very hard to find Molybdenite specimen from the Cubos-Mesquitela-Mangualde area in Portugal. The piece features a 3.4 cm foliated group of silvery-grey metallic Molybdenite sitting aesthetically on grey Quartz matrix. This is certainly the best specimen of this material that we've ever had to offer from this locality, and if you collect sulfides, this is a great piece to add to your collection, as you may not see another like it for sale anywhere else anytime soon. It's very difficult to ascertain a fair market value on this piece, but I would put it in the $1,500-$2,000 range retail.
