Brilliant, silver-metallic, sharp hexagonal, laminated molydenite crystals, to 2.3 cm, are aesthetically scattered on four sides of the hefty quartz-rich matrix on this very fine small cabinet from this classic old Mo-Bi mining district. Primary production was from 1905 to 1920 (MINDAT). Specimens of this 360-degree quality are very uncommon and are highly sought after. Choice, classic, probably old-time material from the Robert Fender Collection. Valued at $500-750.
