Item Description
A surreal and rare style of manganoan calcite from this noted locale. Mn-calcites from here are usually rhombic to nubby/botryoidal. This is an amazing, large, doubly terminated, twinned, tapered scalenohedron with multiple terminations at one end. The pretty pastel-pink color accentuates the frosted, translucent crystal. The sulfide attachment point on the back has sparkly pyrite, rubyjack sphalerite and galena crystals. This amazing and rare large crystal is pristine, except for the attachment point on the back and the broken tip of the projecting side car crystal in the front. Neon-orange fluorescence! A MUST for the species or locality collector! It looks like a rocket ship! Value??
