Item Description
Attractive and rather unusual combination specimen of two varieties of Calcite, along with micro Andradite Garnets. The white Calcite is in cleaved crystals up to 1.2 cm, the micro Andradites cover much of the matrix, and the Manganoan Calcite, which really defines the piece, covers 50% of the specimen with a sparkly drusy crust. Both Calcites are fluorescent, and the Manganoan Calcite crust adds significant drama and aesthetics by outlining the rectangular habit of the underlying matrix.
