Item Description
Mixite is a rare bismuth copper arsenate that is typically most appreciated in micro examples. This piece features some small areas of brilliant blue-green Mixite on matrix, but when they're viewed under magnification, they are very attractive. Semi spherical group and acicular "tufts" of Mixite can be seen in the central vug. We have photographed the specimen with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. This is the FIRST specimen of Mixite that I have seen from Wheal Unity, so I have to believe they are very rare.
