Item Description

Minium is a rare secondary Pb-oxide. Bright red microcrystalline plates and crusts are richly scattered on both sides and are complimented with bands of white gypsum and crusts of microcrystalline brown plumbojarosite. This is a RARE, showy and desirable combination from this well-known extinct locale. Probably old-time material, but no proof. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased in 1965 from Allen's Minerals.
