Item Description
One of the most important mineral reference volumes published by the Mineralogical Record along the with the 1994 companion volume, The History of Mineral Collecting. The full title is: Mineral Books - Five Centuries of Mineralogical Literature. Some of the famous books referenced are: D'Agoty (1781); Rashleigh (1792 & 1802); and the James Sowerby Books. This is a rare, excellent hard-cover volume with only about 150 published (sold out quickly) and includes copies of many fabulous colored plates from the books. It is highly desirable. Value???
