Item Description

This is not your typical Ojuela Mimetite as the habit and color are both quite different for the locality. Hundreds of little prismatic hexagonal Mimetite crystals of a silvery-yellow hue are covering the display side of the underlying gossan matrix. Several tabular to blocky soft golden-yellow colored Wulfenite crystals can be seen sprinkled about for a nice touch. The piece looks great under magnification and would make a really nice addition to any suite of Mexican minerals, secondary ore minerals or specimens from the famous Ojuela Mine.
