Mimetite with Cerussite - superb combination

Bright yellow, gemmy crystals of Mimetite are clustered on this showy thumbnail from Tsumeb. Over two dozen, glassy, bright yellow crystals of Mimetite are clustered at the top portion of this piece and range in size from 3 to 7 mm and MANY are doubly-terminated! The crystal form is a bit unusual for Tsumeb in that all of the crystals on this piece have terminations that taper to a sharp point on each end! The color is an intense yellow and crystals are super lustrous. The Mimetite cluster dominates the left side of the piece while a single, bright, translucent Cerussite twin prevails on the right side. A shard of black matrix partially covered with tiny Mimetite crystals can be seen on the back side. A trace amount of damage to the Mimetites locally at the periphery, but otherwise in excellent condition, as can be seen in the photos. A superb, colorful large thumbnail/toenail/small miniature specimen.
