A classic and very showy specimen from Santa Eulalia, Mexico and the Consie Prince Collection. The sturdy piece looks like a "forest" of lustrous, honey brown-colored, mimetite crystals have a very interesting, tree-like look with the calcite crystals hidden amongst them. The overall appearance reminds me of a forest scene from the famous feature-length cartoon "Fantasia". Facinating. The one broken "tree" is the result of a "storm". These ar eoften mistakenly thought to come from the Ojuela or Correlitos locales. In fact, a good mimetite from THIS location is much more rare and desirable thus...the style is distinct, once you know to look for it. Valued $600
