Mimetite with Bayldonite (ex Harold Urish Collection)

Item Description

This is a rare specimen, one of the few I have personally seen, of material I could only find referenced in an Arizona Bureau of Mines report. Harold Urish self-collected this in 1999 at the so-called "God's Claim" / "Ironwood Mine". It features unusual, thin prismatic crystals of bright yellow-orange Mimetite on a background of green mineralization which, according to that report, as summarized on mindat may be Descloizite or Bayldonite.
