Mimetite w/ Wulfenite (classic locale - 2013 find)

Two generations of mimetite botryoids are attractively festooned on the mounded matrix on this very rich elongated large specimen from limited 2013 finds at famed Mina Ojuela. The striking, sparkly, sugary, translucent, yellow-orange crystals have an interesting elongated cauliflower head-like botryoidal shape and reach about 1.0 cm. Adding character and typical to the find, a few very glassy wulfenite windowpanes with sharp beveled edges are scattered about! The very dense interior is essentially pristine and a bit of noted periphery wear is certainly only a minimal detraction. A very rich and fine cabinet mimetite accented with wulfenites. Valued at $900-1200.
