Classic, lustrous, rounded barrel-shaped, tan mimetite variety campylite crystals are richly clustered on two sides of the vuggy quartz crystal matrix on this impressive large old-time combination from this historic and famous Cumbria mine. The crystals reach 4 mm of this expressive specimen. All of the myriad of mimetites are pristine in the display view and the noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this fine, large, very showy and highly desirable old-timer. Excellent combination materal from an East Coast collection and comes with an obscure New York City dealer label. Jacques Kurtz lived from 1908-1985. The piece displays very well without aid.
