Item Description

This nifty rounded aggregate of curved, barrel-shaped mimetite crystals is classic for this locality, and this well-placed hemisphere is 1.0 cm across. The burnt-orange color and very good luster create an appealing and high-quality combination miniature with the contrasting barite blades and black manganese oxides on the quartz matrix. An excellent old classic from the Bob Trimingham Collection. The piece displays very well without aid.
