Item Description

An impressive, sculptural specimen composed solidly of lustrous, translucent, straw-yellow to brown, sharply pointed, tapered mimetite crystals from Tsumeb. Some broken crystals are noted, mostly on periphery, but this remains a classic, older and excellent style of Tsumeb mimetite. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and according to his label, previously in the "Pappy" Yeats/Texas Tech Collection. Valued at $500-600.
