Item Description

Lustrous, translucent, yellow-green sprays of mimetite crystals totally cover the front of the large, thin limonite crust on this very fine and surprising large two-sided rib from Santa Eulalia. The back is totally different! Here, much smaller yellow and oxide-coated mimetite crystals are nicely accented by hematite-tinted calcite rombs, to 1.0 cm. This is an uncommon and excellent style of mimetite from the famous Potosi Mine. Choice material from the Dave Stoudt Mexico Collection.
