Item Description
A very nice miniature specimen from the Mount Bonnie Mine in Australia featuring a few sharp, well-formed, somewhat thick, tabular, hexagonal crystals of Mimetite measuring up to 1.2 cm across sitting on matrix. The Mimetites show a wonderful crystals habit with pronounced basal faces and modifying pyramidal faces on every side. The color is a soft yellow tone. Very attractive up close, with only one broken edge to one of the Mimetite crystals. Old material dating back many decades. Valued $950.
