Item Description

Mimetite is RARE from this obscure former Pb-Zn-Sb-Ag mine, active from 1903 to 1948. Cute sprays of lustrous, translucent, orange mimetite crystals, to 4 mm, are nicely scattered on the vuggy sulfide matrix. Choice and rare older material from the Alfred Stevenson and Eugene Carmichael Collections. A must for the locality or species collector.
