Green mimetite is RARE from this obscure district, known for excellent wulfenite and cerussite specimens. Mimetite, in generial, is rare from here. Sharp, sparkly, lustrous olive-green prisms, to 4 mm, are festooned on the vuggy sculptural matrix. Most mimetite from here is yellow. Around 2011-2014 artisanal miners worked this obscure mine, probably worked in the 1950s and 1960s for specimens and came up with some fine pieces, such as this excellent and rich rarity. Valued by the former dealer at $300.
