Item Description
A colorful, rich and RARE old-time combination miniature from Tiger and the Kay Robertson Collection # 4693. The dramatically placed 3.0 cm sculptural vug is richly lined with tiny gem, elongated, emerald-green dioptase prisms. Scattered tiny orange, sharp hexagonal and rounded campylite mimetite crystals are a super compliment and accent. Tiger dioptase and mimetite specimens of this richness and quality are VERY RARE and desirable. The hefty for the size matrix is rich in tiny glassy yellow-green smithsonite rhombs. Classic and rare Tiger. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
