An impressive large combination specimen from the well-known Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia and the Evan Jones Mexico Collection. A dramatic, intergrown cluster of knobby calcite stalactites is overgrown with lustrous honey-brown and orange-yellow mimetite crystals. Much of this 360-degree, sculptural piece is also preferentially coated with a second generation of oxide-tinted calcite rhombs. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a tiny bit of periphery wear on one side. Valued at $750-1000. rare old material!
