Item Description

A good looking Mimetite featuring a brownish yellow colored, "bursts" of narrow hexagonal crystals of Mimetite with rhombic white Calcite on matrix. The crystals are all prismatic in habit, with resinous luster. Good Mimetites from this locality and now rather difficult to find on the market. The piece comes with a label from Octahedron Fine Minerals from Balitmore, Maryland.
