Item Description

A highly unusual two-sided globular specimen of bubbly mimetite botryoids with strange colors from this less well-known mine. Most of the waxy luster botryoids are a strange pastel yellow-green with overgrowths of sparkly mustard-yellow mimetite on one side. Bruising reveals, that the botyroids have red cores. RARE in this style. Most such specimens we have seen from here are orange and resemble those from famed San Pedro Corralitos. I read that these only came out once in the 1950s.
