A Mexico classic. Translucent lemon-yellow mimetite botryoids, to 7 mm, are attached to thin membranes of gossan matrix, giving the piece an interesting sculptural form. Note that this color is particularly YELLOW whereas most are an orange to burnt-orange hue, making this the rarest color of the pocket. A ONCE IN A LIFETIME FIND, never repeated, since 1968. These remain classics, and unique specimens compared to others of the species. Quality today is determined by the saturation of color and the sparkliness of the lustrous surface (or not) - both features that are in top form, here.
