Item Description

A wonderful miniature specimen of the classic strong yellow Mimetite from San Pedro Corralitos. This beauty has the characteristic resinous luster and the desirable botryoidal habit. From a find over 40 year ago (I'm told these specimens came out in the late 1960s - early 1970s). Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#6596). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
