Item Description

These are classics from the famous Ojuela Mine. This piece features eye-catching, strong yellow colored, vitreous / resinous, intergrown semi-radial groups of Mimetite forming a very attractive thumbnail sized specimen. The Mimetites are not quite prisms or balls, but somewhere in between. I've described them before as "elongated globular" groups. Perhaps my favorite aspect of the piece is that each group is defined and fairly separated from one another, so the piece is distinctive and three-dimensional. The largest Mimetite measures 1.2 cm.
