Item Description

Very attractive, rich yellow colored, semi-radial groups of Mimetite have intergrown to create a lovely thumbnail specimen. This piece is very aesthetic, and these are classics from the famous Ojuela Mine. The actual shape of the Mimetites can be described as "elongated globular" groups as they are somewhat prismatic, and somewhat spherical, but neither word really describes them accurately. I love the distinct almost drusy resinous luster on the piece, and for a smaller specimen, I apprecaite that the Mimeittes are fairly well-separated and defined. A hard to find, showy and three-dimensional thumbnail of this wonderful older material.
