Mimetite (classic material)

Item Description

A classic Mimetite from the famed Ojuela Mine. This miniature specimen hosts attractive rich yellow colored groups of Mimetite on minor oxidized matrix. The Mimetites are elongated, but not truly narrow prisms, nor are they complete "spheres", rather somewhere in between. The largest individual crystal aggregate measures about 1.1 cm. They have a distinct resinous luster and the fact that they are fairly well-separated and defined makes them all the more enticing. Very minor bladed orange Wulfenite can be seen on the underside of the piece for a nice touch. A showy and three-dimensional display specimen of this classic material from Ojuela. Very little damage
