Item Description
A wonderful "toenail" sized piece of this classic material from the famed Ojuela Mine. The specimen features resinous rich yellow colored semi-radial groups of Mimetites that measure to about 1.2 cm long, on minor oxidized matrix. An aesthetic example of an Ojuela Mine classic! The groups are elongated, and not truly narrow prisms, nor are they complete "spheres", but somewhere in between. The Mimetites have a distinct luster and the fact that they are fairly well-separated and defined makes them all the more enticing. I can see a tiny bit of bladed golden Wulfenite on the underside of the piece. A showy and three-dimensional display specimen of this classic material from Ojuela.
