Item Description
Attractive rich yellow colored groups of Mimetite can be seen covering the underlying oxidized matrix from this famous Mexican locality. The Mimetites are elongated, but not truly narrow prisms, nor are they complete "spheres", rather somewhere in between. The largest individual crystal measures about 7 mm. They have a distinct resinous luster and the fact that they are fairly well-separated and defined makes them all the more enticing. A showy and three-dimensional display specimen of this classic material from Ojuela. Very little damage
