Mimetite (classic material)

Item Description

A lovely Mimetite from Tsumeb with a slightly different style and color than one typically encounters from this prolific locality. This piece is filled with dozens of little hexagonal crystals that measure a few mm, with a pleasing yellow hue, but there is a very slight greenish overtone, which is not typically observed in Mimetites from Tsumeb. The crystals are best seen under magnification. A cool esoteric piece to add to any Tsumeb suite or a collection of Mimetites/minerals from the Apatite Group.
