Item Description

Lustrous, translucent, rich orange hexagonal mimetite prisms cover the sculptural undulating matrix on this very rich and colorful specimen from the famous Rowley Mine. The barrels reach about 3-4 mm. This old mine, discovered in 1900, last produced in 1923, but collectors have made many outstanding discoveries since. This is certainly a fine and very rich example.
