Item Description

This is a large, robustly covered specimen that is literally coated with rroseate clusters of intense yellow mimetite crystals. This is a classic style for Tsumeb, rarely seen on a piece of such size and in such good condition. The crystals are sharp and many have gemmy, translucent tips on them. Since they shoot out radially in little clusters, the piece flashes in even minimal lighting, with all those reflective angles for light to hit. This is overall a large, colorful, really fine example of this style of mimetite from Tsumeb. Valued $2500-3000 From an old private collection, just obtained.
