Mimetite (2013 find)

Item Description

A very showy and rich two-way miniature from the 2013 finds at famed Mina Ojuela. Rich orange, sparkly, translucent, sugary, elongated mimetite botryoids are attractively festooned atop and on the sturdy sculptural gossan matrix. The botryoids reach about 1.0 cm on this cutie and there is even a couple of hard-to-see up to 5 mm glassy yellow wulfenites scattered about. The interior is pristine and the noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this artistic 2-way piece from a limited find.
