Mimetite (2013 find)

Item Description

Rich orange, sparkly, translucent, sugary, elongated mimetite botryoids are attractively festooned on three sides of the sturdy sculptural gossan matrix on this very showy cutie from the limited 2013 finds at famed Mina Ojuela. The imposing large mimetite is 1.5 cm on this multi-generational piece. Complete all-around and in great shape for all of the crystal density, with only a few broken and bruised botryoids noted. Excellent material for the find and locale with multiple display possibilties.
