In 1968, this small claim (not even a mine, really), produced a one-time pocket of intense yellow, orange, and yellow-orange mimetite in botryoidal aggregates as you see here. And then, no more. They came out ONCE. Today, it is hard to obtain any large specimen from this famous pocket, and certainly not one for under a few thousand dollars of any quality. This piece is a 3-dimensional knoll of matrix smothered in gorgeous yellow mimetite, with a rare sparkling microcrystalline growth on the balls which gives the piece more pizzazz. I believe this is an excellent display-quality, larger specimen, worth around $2500
