Item Description
Alex Schauss took great pride in participating in some of the field collecting at the Rowley, particularly around 2010-13, with Keith Wentz and his crew. This was self-collected from a small series of incredible pockets with shimmering, crazy red mimetite crystals. The color is shocking - and the most saturated of any mimetite you will ever see. Small crystals, big impact. Aesthetic 2.0 x 3.3 x 1.3 cm specimen, of bright red micro-mimetite xtls covering an "Africa-shaped white baryte breccia matrix " according to Alex's eye.
