Item Description

This is a very fine small cabinet of classic Halls Gap millerite - the locality now being closed and specimens hard to come by. This specimen features rich nested sprays of brassy, acicular millerite crystals in a chalcedony lined geode, typical for the locality (when digging, you would look for geodes in slightly green, or nickel-rich, rock layers). An outstanding combination specimen from this noted locale, with aesthetics and richness both! Valued $750-1000. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
