Millerite in Calcite (ex Jim Robison)

Item Description

A classic specimen of rhombic colorless Calcite included with metallic grey "needles" of the nickel sulfide, Millerite from the well known occurences around Keokuk, Iowa. This piece is a partial (cleaved) rhomb, but still retains good form. A really cool thumbnail from the collection of noted carbonate collector, Jim Robison.
