Item Description
Large matrix millerite specimens, such as this, are rare from the famous Halls Gap locality. A 2.0 cm, quartz-lined geode is densely packed with scintillating, brassy millerite needles and is nicely set in the massive limestone matrix. Old and very uncommon material from the Dennis Mullane Collection from the 1960s or early 70s.
