Millerite (ex Willard Wulff Collection)

A lovely specimen of Millerite from the famous locality at Halls Gap. The crystals show the classic almost "thread" like appearance with the shimmering golden color which are set into a crystallized vug. An attractive thumbnail display specimen of this hard to find material from this classic locality. This piece comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936.
