Item Description
Millerite is a highly collectible nickel sulfide, and is seldom available from Russian localities. This very fine small cab features a radiating spray of brassy-yellow, shiny, metallic, acicular crystals with a hint of iridescence. The Millerite needles reach an impressive to 2.0 cm, and they are quite stout for the species. Associated are excellent, silky, and gemmy Calcites that have a nice red fluorescence. These are large and significant Millerite needles from this Urals Mountains locality, and this aesthetic piece is decades old, at the least.
